How Our Shared Benefits Started

Employee benefits can make a real difference in employee recruitment and retention, but they also represent some of the most volatile costs for organizations.

This is right where MACC’s founders first started their work– to collaborate to save on benefits. And this isn’t just a discount program with a preferred vendor or sponsoring corporation. This is true collaborative scale in the marketplace.

Over the years MACC’s HR shared service has been a leader in developing a model for collaboratively purchasing non-medical employee benefits. Through the economies of scale we created together – we’re able to extend these benefits to the whole MACC network.

This means the potential for individual organizations to be able to offer more benefits to their employees, while creating cost savings for our network as a whole.
