There are many ways to engage in creative, collaborative work with your network peers. MACC brings together leadership cohorts and member councils that empower our network to engage in the shared work our organizations and their communities are prioritizing. These cohorts bring leaders together to cultivate partnerships, identify trends and needs, create space for new ideas, and develop the shared strategies that power the work of our vibrant, diverse network.
Current member councils include:
Executive Director Cohort: All MACC CEOS are invited to participate. This group meets bi-monthly to build connections across organizations and discuss key challenges they have as leaders of human service nonprofits and share ideas and solutions
Government Partnership Council: this councils is made up of an ad hoc group of CEOs and Executive Leaders. This council provides member leadership of MACC’s collective advocacy voice and has been building solidarity through shared work for several years. This includes laying the ground work for fighting for Pay Justice, strengthening our relationships with our government partners, and COVID relief and operational continuity challenges. Members participating have also explored generative work with Hennepin County Human Service Leadership.
Data Justice Council: This council is made up of member data administrators and program leaders at our Data Services member organizations. This member council has been meeting regularly since late 2021, beginning to lay the groundwork for our Data Justice Principles and developing the early stages of advocacy strategy with foundations and government funders. *Currently for Data Services members only.
Employee Benefits Council: Made up of member administrative leadership at our Human Resources member organizations. MACC HR members participate in a member workgroup focused on collaborative learning opportunities and building shared strategy around ways employers can improve their value proposition through employee benefits. *Currently for Human Resources members only.
Summit Host Team: Host Team members represent the MACC network in the planning and presentation of MACC’s annual member convening. The Host Team centers member perspectives in the design of the event, provides input and direction, and supports registration efforts. During the Summit Host Team Members are involved in the presentation by providing welcome and closing messages and introducing key note speakers. Host Team Members receive free registration for the MACC Summit.
